I have MS-6368 Pentium 3 socket 370 mobo, the manual say that it support max 1 Gb Ram, but when I installed 512 and 128 Mb PC133 ram, the WIndows hang and the pc keep restarting itself. Please help.

incompatible ram or bad memory sticks. try with only one stick at a time to see which one has problems. this is windows 2000 or XP right? windows 98 and windows Me cannot handle more than 512MB memory.

Win9x does support more than 512MB of memory but may have some problems. It then reports strange error messages like out of memory. But with this problem actice it won't hang or reboot.

It really looks like bad RAM. Or the manufacturing tech is too different on the 512 and 128MB stick and the memory controller is not able to handle this.
