Asus A8N E Bios Problem

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

hey ther,
well i had just cleaned up my pc frm inside.. and may hav touched the mb surface but no area near the cmos..

well the problem is wen i go into bios setup.. my keyboard works real slow.. tht is i press the down key and it goes down after a while and then after a few seconds it hangs totally..

if i dont go into bios.. my system works properly and boots well.. the only problem is in bios..

i hav tried updating the bios but thn it gave me more prblems then solutions.. so i reverted back to the old backup.. i triet clearin cmos and that also didnt help..

can ne one guess wat the hell is wrong.. coz my brains hav already fried up!!!

send an email to Asus tech support with your experiences, they might have seen this behaviour before and can tell you what's wrong.

i tried posting in asus forums.. but havent got any reply yet..

in the mean time if any of you guys hav got any ideas about what is possbily wrong then plz do help!!!
