first of all thanks for having this nice forum :)


k my problem is sometimes my hard disk doesnt get recognised and it is a seagate 80 gb HDD (not a SATA). it works well on my second computer.

another problem is the password protection for BIOS also nott working.

i consulted a hardware engineer and he asked me to update my BIOS. but the hell thing is tat i cant recognise wats the right thing for my motherboard. so guys PLZ help me out to get a right BIOS update with some guide/links for instruction as i had never worked with BIOS environments though i m a young software engineer :P

bunch of thanx. it worked excellent and i got some usb boot options. thanks a lot. but i m still stucked up with one thing. the password feature is still not working. i can protect the bios settings with a password but not the system booting. it accepts some passwords for system boot at settings but doesnt care while booting :P. if u hav some suggestions then feel free to post, i ll be thankful :D
