acer bios advanced settings

hi everyone im new here

i just bought an acer aspire 5633wlmi

when i entered the bios configuration i noticed that the tab with advanced settings is completely locked
first i thought i only had to enter a supervisor password but this was not the case as a normal user i have even fewer options =/

i also applied the newest bios upgrade from acer but with no success... the advanced tab stays locked

i searched the web for 2 days now and found this bnobtc bios tools collection which unfortunately isnt available anywhere anymore
i dont know if it really helps me in my situation though

does anyone know a way to solve this problem? or at least can someone send me those bnobtc tools so i can try them out?

i want to be able to change some options such as plug n play aware os because i want to install gnu/linux on my laptop

any help would be greatly appreciated
