The motherboard manual (Fugutech M507) says that I have a 'Flash EPROM'. Do I need to buy a burner to upgrade this, or can it just be rewritten while its in the computer, with software?

Please check what's written on your Flashrom and compare it with what's written in the FAQ .
A Chip starting with 28 or 29 number is flashable - 27 is programmale in a Eprom burner .

I peeled the sticker off and all it said was
M507 3-11
DN001
618C652HCQI

It doesnt have 27, 28, 29, so I guess its not flashable?

Unfortunately not. You'll need to buy a new flashable chip.
