HI
I've got a M558 mb. I'd downloaded 0609s.rom for upgrade it. What kind of improvement does it provides? Support for larges Hd's? for usb?
Is there any danger? My mb do shows the "M558" tag on the back.

Just make sure you have the right BIOS update. There are several, depending on your Super I/O controller chip.

Where does it appears the information about "the right bios upgrade version"?

It says so in the Release.txt file for the M558 at http://ajz.web1000.com
You need the 1998/01/16 file.
