Shuttle HOT-641

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

Hi,

I have an old HOT-641 Shuttle mainboard with 641WIQ09 bios loaded.
My WD 40GB is not detected and bios freezes.

I checked wimsbios's site but could find 641 bios there.
There is a posted message related to the same issue, but no bios is attached (http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic715.html)
Can anyone upload one please or send me one via e-mail?

Which OS are you using? If you're using Linux, Windows XP SP2 or 2000 SP4 you can just clip the drive to 32GB letting the bios detect it and proceed installing. After installation you'll be able to use the drive's full capacity as those OS go round the BIOS values anyway.
