acer aspire 5102 bios

Recommended by Wim's BIOS...

i cancelled a bios setting by mistake now when i put my laptop on its just a black screen what can i do is there any way of puttin it bak on cos otherwise i have to change motherboard and it costs 300quid

most likely a cmos clear will do the trick, if your manual does not tell you how to perform this visit your local acer service center with the receipt of purchase and they should be able to do this for you.

thanks for ur help, also sum1 sed that if somebody else has the same laptop save the bios settings can this be done?

i hav now taken the laptop to another shop and he called and said he doesnt think its a bios problem and it maybe a problem elsewhere on the laptop, and he sed when i cancled the bios it may not be the problem it may just be coinsidence that the screen is blank
