I want to connect a 40GB HHD on my PC, that's a PII and i can't. i've tried to connect like a 32GB and it recognize the HDD, but don't load to windows..

Bios Date: 04/08/99
Bios Type: Award Modular Bios v. 4.51PG
Bios ID: 04/08/99 - I440BX - ED - 2A69KD4FC - 00
Chip: Award PCI/PNP 686

I don't know if that information it's enought... somebody can help me with that??

fixes this, it supports disk up to 128GB. It is ofcourse still possible something else in the system is broken, use memtest86 for your memory sticks and recycling a windows 2000 or windows XP install is not a good idea unless the same board was used in the previous system
