I am trying to boot from a: to flash the bios using AWDFLASH, but every boot disk I try doesn't work. The furthest I can get is by using a utility disk (Maxblast) using Caldera DR-DOS, but this fails giving me an error of "Can't load BDOS Kernel file A:\IBMDOS.COM - System Halted"

Even with a boot disk from DOS 6.22, It will give me an error that the disk is not bootable..

Are there any other options?

Nope, not bad ram.. I swapped the current 128MB for another known good one, and no difference..

a) faulty L2 cache?
b) CPU overheating/improper cooling?
c) PSU defective?
d) VRM defective?
