Hi cp,

I've seen you helping everyone out here, and so I've decided to ask whether you can tell me if a computer of following configuration:

Philips freeline MT1100 with ECS SF2-M7 LGA775 motherboard and SiS 667FX chipset, (ergo integrated video)

... can be flashed to support 1440 x 900 resolution and BENQ T91W monitor? Since it is not my PC I need to know how safe it is.

Thank you very much.

read this:
http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic9748.html

post a direct link to the latest bios. updating the bios is as safe as bios updates are...the video bios has been tested on many boards and (upto now) none failed.
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.
