My BIOS is not recognizing my dual core processor. It only recognizes one. I have a ASUS A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard. The BIOS is as it was when I purchased the motherboard a couple years ago. Any ideas of what I need to do to get the dual core processor recognized. Thanks.

hmm..i'm not an expert but what about a bios update?

from ASUS site:
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+ revE4(Socket939)
Versions: ALL
Supported since: 1008

download site:
http://support.asus.com/download/downlo ... el=A8N-SLI

product site:
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?model ... =15&l3=148

a simple g**gle search or a quick glance on the manufacturer's site would have told you the same.
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.
