DFI AK47-EC rev.b2 bootblock problems.

Postby RaZZe » Sun Feb 10, 2008 5:28 am

Hi,

I have problems with my motherboard.
After a bios update came Award BIOS boot block v1.0.

Then I have a bootable floppy disk created with AWDFLASH and correct Bios!

But bootblock shows the following error message:

! Error - Bad floppy sector FAT!
Or
! Error - AWDFLASH.EXE not found! ...

I have everything already tested what I found on google!
Nothing has helped.

What can I do?

Sorry 4 my bad english.iam german!

Tanks!

Is the floppy readable in another machine?

Sounds like it, transfer the working floppy disk/floppy drive to your problem machine. If that doesn't work the floppy controller on the board is gone and it's time for a replacement board...
