i have been searching for weeks to find the 05/13/2003 bios update. i have found the 2002 update but the 2003 update has Added Large HDD support. I have found the link on the manufacturers website here:
http://www.epox.com/USA/article.asp?ID=1640
but the link there is broken and this is the only place i can find the 2003 update. Is there any one that can help me?

the bios update is for the EP-4G4A, EP-4G4A+, EP-4G4AI models

Well EpOX is officially dead and some people have gathered the remains to create Supox but alas no downloads for old boards. I'm going to check my offline archive, it may be in there somewhere. Pray...

Last Bios there is of 10/2002 but thy still have lots of old Bios.

Edit: Even the 2theMax 4G4A series (rebranded Epox it seems) has the last Bios of 10/2002.

that is US notation so mine is from 11/2002... I have archived the entire FTP-server at one time but I seem to have missed the latest updates Sad

Hmm, with an Award 6.00PG Bios dated 2002 it should at least be operable with 137GB (128GiB) in Bios. Any modern Os like W2K/XP, Linux or newer should be able to detect the capacity above without problems, only the boot partition needs to be within the size your Bios recognizes.

If your Bios hangs on detection you may have to limit your drive to show only 32 or 128 GiB in Bios but, as said above, those OS should recognize all capacity above once loaded.

Well i tried to use the DOS-Based BIOS Programmer that is intergrated on the board and that went fine but i think that it may have failed and erased my bios completely because once it restarted all i got was a blank screen... but it is ok this is an old board and i can transfer all my files to a dfferent computer thanks every one for your help but i think this board was doomed from the start...

Epox=FAIL

I managed to archive the entire Epox ftp 2 years ago, & luck has it, I have
the bios update you're looking for...
I just opened it up with modbin6 to confirm it....
It was the same bios in the 4G4A & 4G4A+ folders...
In fact, I seem to have every release of bios for this board previous
to this latest release...

And here's the download of your bios...
