I can not get my computer to boot. I have tried Dos, Win98, Win2000, boot disks and it will not boot. I go into setup and change the boot to CD, A\ C. Nothing works. As if the settings don't work at setup. I have no OS on my computer as I was installing a new hard drive when I noticed it would not boot. Thank you and any help will be greatly appreciated. Could it be something to do with the bios. I tried a different Floppy.

You can get into setup, so it is not completely dead.

As you were installing a hard drive, I would recommend checking the disc drive cables. If they look OK, try disconnecting the hard drives and CD-ROM and see if the floppy starts to work.

Have you tried clearing CMOS or selecting "BIOS defaults" in setup, in case the on-board controllers are somehow disabled ?
