Not all 4.51PG versions have this 32GB or 64GB BUG depending on release date and bios programmer from motherboard manufacturer .
If you get no newer Bios then Rainbow or another moderator is able to patch your Bios to support up to 64GB or up to 128GB but this is strictly on your own risk .
But it is reported to work in most cases - afaik up to 64GB nearly 100% working .

@Denniss: Rainbow sent Ash a patched BIOS which should have fixed the problem, but it does not seem to have for some reason.

@Ash: are you 100% sure the flash is changed to Rainbow's ?

Some BIOSes are buggy in weird way - they don't hang when HDD over 32GB is installed but cut the capacity to 32GB. Currently I don't know how to fix this bug.

I correctly flashed the bios sent by Rainbow.
He found my bios and patch it , or patch the bios I've sent to him.

Both works, it test the founded bios by Rainbow (not patched version).

That's why I beginning to hate award and m$....

Award has a weird support, something like kit-bios , but it costs 50$ plus postage... I live in Brazil..so ... haha...not a chance.

With a little more than 100$ , i can buy a new board... but i'm little short of money now... maybe next year (hehe).

Thanks for all support and info's posted...
ASH.

Award does NOT support end-users. Motherboard manufacturers buy BIOS from Award or AMI and modify it to suit their boards. You should hate Atrend for this instead.

I found older v1.03 BIOS for your board. You can try it - if it hangs at autodetect then it can be patched successfully. The file is on heavily loaded server - I will try to download it and upload somewhere to test.

[quote="Rainbow"]I found older v1.03 BIOS for your board

That will not work at all , v1.04 (actual) is for supporting new processor type (pentium 3 family) and my processor is that one.
The v1.03 only support up to P2 at 450, with v1.04 supports up to P3 600.

If I use this old bios, it'll even boot because of processor installed.

Thanks Rainbow, maybe the best way is get a generic pci ide controller card; most of them seens to have the ability the use up to 128 GB HD's...My bios does not have a 'fix' ... ops... have a 'fix' but at a high cost (i'll not pay it to unicore (award departament of bios upgrade-patch),no way......... ) ...

I heard from this strange 32GB BUG not hanging with 40GB but cutting off all over 32GB with Gigabte GA5AX Bios F3 .
Latest F4 seems to have this bug removed - maybe compare these two files .
