Post subject: SystemSoft bios - 40GB HDD not recognized |

I have a Mitac 7233 notebook with a SystemSoft bios (latest available ver. R1.07)
I want to upgrade it with a 40GB Fujitsu HDD, but the bios doesn´t detect it.
Does anyone have a bios upgrade for it?
I don't want to use a disk manager !
Can somebody please help?

The lack of updates on the Mitac websites doesn't raise great hope in me.
It looks like R1.07 really IS the latest version. Use drive overlay software.

20G is the max without the software.
