BIOS Agent reports:
BIOS type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS date: 08/12/98
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 2
System is a Micron 350Mhz PII (MMX)
Board made by BCM (DR737)
Please, please (please), advise if this BIOS is limited to a 32GB HDD. I wish to install at least a 60GB HDD. Is there a BIOS upgrade available for this system?
(yes, I have checked with BCM, they don't seem to have one).
THANKS!

Thanks. However, I made a small errror in the BIOS i.d. The forth last letter should be "E" instead of "F" (all else the same). Should that make a difference?
Also, what HDD is currently supported by the current BIOS dated 8/12/98? 32GB?

I apologize, I can't read my own writing...the BIOS is indeed the version with the forth last character an "F" not "E".
Rainbow, you suggested this upgrade:
10/22/1999-i440BX-W977TF-2A69KB3FC-00 at this site http://www.otcomp.com/support/dr737/otcomp_bios-2.8.zip
QUESTION: Please forgive my newness to this, but how does one know the BIOS date version (10/22/1999)?? I checked the site above, but couldn't see this date listed or the max HDD supported by it.
Also, can I check the BIOS upgrade code for the BIOS i.d. string to be absolutely sure it is the same as my current version before I flash??
Thanks.

unpack the zip file with winzip.
rename the otcomp-2.8.awd file to newbios.bin
use the flash.exe inside the zip file.
flash /Pn backup.bin /Sy
flash newbios.bin /Py /Sn /CC /CP /CD
