Post subject: PCChips M810 dead after CPU overcloking |
|
|
Hello,
I have an PCChips socketA motherboard( M810LR with SIS 730(730s) chipset , AMIBIOS ) and CPU Duron 600 MHz. I try to set CPU's frequency from BIOS to 800 MHz (it is stupid, I know) and , after that, my system didn't boot at all. Beep code is somthing like this: 2-3 shorts beeps , 2-3 seconds pause, again and again.
I think the CPU is dead, could be something else?
Sorry for my English, and thank you in advance for sugesstions !

I try to reset the CMOS like this: Clear Cmos jumper and pulling out the battery (more than one hour) but nothing works.
Thanks anyway.
