PC Geiger, SiS645, BIOS Problems

I got the PC Geiger Tuesday, and have been trying to get the PCI Bus Monitor to work with my Abit SD7-533 mobo to no avail. When I turn on my machine, but before BIOS screen appears the PCI monitor works and shows me the pci bus frequency, and the debug code, but when the Bios screen appears, it just shows the last debug code 80FF and the indicator LEDs flicker. In my bios setup screen, it works also, but with zero values, of course. It works just fine in my wife's machine, so I know its not the device itself. It was suggested I try the PCI card in slot 3. I have tried it in all pci slots with no luck. When I wrote vicstech, they said I had to disable the "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk". This setting does not appear in my bios, nor does it appear in modbin when I try to mod my latest bios bin file.
Well, I have discovered that the bios shuts down any PCI slot not in use. Since the Geiger isnt really a card, the bios shuts down the slot its in so I cant get any readings. I have tried to disable the ACPI in the hopes that would solve the problem, but when I do that it really screws up windows, and the Gieger still doesnt work. I have tried the APIC too, with no results. I have heard on another [H]ardware forum that any PCI card with a bridge chip doesnt work with the 645. Anybody know a way around this?

You need to make system think that there is a card in the slot - but don't know how.

I looked around at the mobos that have the 645 chipset, and a few of them have the "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI clk" setting which is an energy/emi saver feature that shuts down the slot, DIMM or PCI, when the slot is not populated. I wrote Abit 3 times, twice in the last two days, and received this:
"We have forwarded your email to our Bios engineer.
We use the Bios source code from Awdflash, our engineer will look into your
issue."
This is much more than I expected. Hopefully I will get a modified BIOS before the sun explodes.... Razz
