I have a Compaq Presario, Windows XP, lately, when powering up, the Bios setup page appears, sometimes with ENGLISH, highlighted. Sometimes just the setup page. If ENGLISH is there I select it, and do F-10, that takes me back to the setup page. I normally do a Set to Default and Exit, F-10, sometimes that starts the pc right away, other times I have to do this several times. I have replaced the battery. Any suggestions?

Make sure there are no jammed keys on the keyboard. Sometimes I have found a key maybe jamming internally, underneath the actual plastic key cover that you press with your fingers - usually pressing it once or twice fixes this (if you can find which key). It may also be worth simply trying a different keyboard and seeing what happens, if this is not a laptop.
