Post subject: EPOX 8KTA3 PRO BIOS ISSUE |
|
|
Hi BIOS Gurus,
I have 2 Epox 8KTA3 Pro mobos having a similar problem with the PS2 keyboard port.
PS2 keyboard isn't detected and you hear a high-pitched intermittent tone from the speaker after memory is detected, and the system just hangs there.
IS THIS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS BOARD?
Have flashed the BIOS with the latest update already, still not able to detect any PS2 keyboard. AT keyboard is detected and the system boots to Windows, but when you type on the keyboard the letters are all in CAPITALS.
DO YOU THINK THIS IS BIOS-RELATED? WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS PROBLEM? ANY SOLUTIONS?
