Hi.

I have p4 mobile 1700 on desktop motherboard. It's correct recognized but it run with lower multiplier (12x). It' s possible to set the higher multiplier (17x)?
Cpu-z and others software recognized cpu and show all two multiplier.
Thanks an advance.

Would be a good idea to tell us what motherboard you have and if you do have a BIOS entry that deals with the multipliers...

Now the board is a cheap ecs p4vxasd2+ but i have a p4pe ready to start when arrive new ddr ram modules.
Yes, i know that the only choice on intel is to change fsb. The processor run on ecs 12x140 (1680mhz) with only 1,184 vcore (so little undervolting), show in bios, in cpuz and others similar utilities. On asus it could run at 166. I seek one more way to get more speed. The temperature is about 25/26° with slk800-u.
There is any asus p4pe mod bios?
