| I just got a new motherboard, a DFI NF3 250-AL. I have an AMD 3400+ XP 64bit cpu that was recognized fine on my old board but for some reason it shows as an AMD engineering Sample 00 on this board. When I go into control panel, System, it shows that the CPU is only bing run at 800mhz. I have already checked for bios updates and there arne't any.

email DFI tech support about this. You have made sure this board supports that CPU to begin with?

| Yes it supports the CPU. I have already emailed DFI, waiting on a response.

Let us know, if it takes them too long (more than 2 weeks) we'll fire a few emails there as well...

| Still waiting on a reply from DFI. I installed the CPU in another DFI board and it does the same thing. In any other board that I have tried though, it recognizes it as the CPU it is.
