Post subject: one beep at start up BIOS |

I recent flash my BIOS from a F4 to a F5 from gigabyte bios update page
now. when i start my compterm i get a ONE beep when it pass post BIOS before window,
what does one beep mean, i never got any beep with F4, but now i get one with F5, what does it mean ?????????????
also and i do not know id it has any thing to do with this or not but my compter some thime re boot sudden now since i flash bios update

| 1 long beep == POST has passed all tests, means that everything is alright. if you don't want any beeps just disconnect the beeper ;)

| no he should not disconnect the beeper because if it ever happens that the PC wont boot, the motherboard will generate beeps, he should know about them

| he could also reconnect the beeper to hear possible beepcodes if the board doesn't work anymore (for whatever reason).
