Hi,

Hopefully this hasn't been answered before, I've searched.

I have an Asus A8JS (512 MB GeForce 7700Go) which i'm trying to hack the VBIOS (required in order to get something working). However, I extracted the VBIOS modules, applied the necessary hack, and inserted them back in. The AMIBCP appends the modules at the end. When I flashed this, it bricked the laptop.

Does the order of modules in the BIOS matter? Did I miss a step somewhere? Would anyone be willing to look over my work to see what I did wrong?

Thanks
atanamir

PS - the same VBIOS hacks works on a desktop with a standalone VBIOS flash.
