if it fails, how would i recover it using that backup?

but u guess by that time i try to restore it, it would have went kaput right......

i used the AWD, award flasher 8.12 for my BIOS ID: 10/21/1998-i440BX-W977-2A69KTJAC using the Totem TM-P2BXAT data file i found on the wims.rainbow-software.org site using that it isn't the right file, incorrect file so i'm wondering if its an issue whether i got the wrong data file to flash it with...

i see that the BIOS ID string on that site is: 02/09/1999-i440BX-W977-2A69KTJBC-00

where mine is: 10/21/1998-i440BX-W977-2A69KTJAC

now i'm thinking, there might be a big difference......

the end where it says TJBC and mine says TJAC

could that be it?
