I booted Knoppix off of a CD, and have been testing the USB ports with a USB mouse, and I am not getting any response. I believe that may add to the credence that the USB controllers are fried.. Not sure how to resurrect them, however, I believe I may have a warranty on the system.

At one point they must have...The USB ports worked at one point.

USB Ports are not recognized by BIOS

I disabled USB 2.0 Controller, and left the Legacy support enabled, but no change. I think I am going to back out the SP2 and see what that does.

yes...two of them are sharing IRQ 16. I don't know if that is an issue...
