If anything goes wrong and system does not boot how can i restore old bios .

It does not give any error on other motherboards , and i have old bios ( AMI bios ) NOw tell me how to diable autodetection RAM ?

Ya i got it , how to back up my bios , If i run uniflash bios will be empty . after uniflash which program i have to run .

I have pcchip motherboard M730 . and i check on other computer it shows 256 .

Hi friends , I have brought new 256Mb ram 133Mhz to increase pc speed , it shows only 128Mb . It has 16chips 8 chips on each side . I check motherboard manual it says only 66 mhz and 100mhz accepted . I search 100/66 mhz ram everywhere but in vain . now 256Mhz is useless even i cannot insatall lates...

My Bios chip is 2Mbit , I dowload the flash file and try to upgrade it says your bios dos not supprot flash. How can i upgrade my bios ?

Hi !

I have boot from floppy and run amiflash.com and awdflash.exe both of these program . It gives error " system BIOS does not have flash support " . i cannot upgrade my bios ? .

Yes i get the file but there are 2 files now ehich is i have to dowwload one is of 1MB and other one is 2Mb .

M730 (2MB Flash Rom) (s730v204.rom)
M730 (1MB Flash Rom) (s730v61h.rom)

And how can i upgrade my bios ? Give me some instructions .
