well i have to do further investigations but i think bios is f3 or f4
the board can do the right voltage (and below)
but no video signal...

can anyone tell me if the board/revision can handle a cumine so i know its not the board...

tried to flash on an abit bx133, worked fine, this is much easier than recovering a hdd :)

well if u have a 2nd mobo, be sure, that it is able to hotflash the bd7 bios and try it.
imo its not very risky, it wont explode ;)

i got a dead board, tried to hotflash it, its beeing recognized correctly by uniflash, but after writing the verfication of some blocks fails, tried again, same blocks tried again with bootblockwrite, again... so i think the chip is dead? the chip is from SST: 29EE02 256KB do i have to buy exact thi...

tried today a 80GB cuda IV.
it correctly recongizes the hd type on the 1st bios screen (with the epa logo) but on the second it gets stuck...
the last thing that shows up is: "Pri. Master Disk: LBA, UDMA 2," with the cursor under the last ,
64GB limitation?

is there a aflash version that can flash the bios without the bootcode?
or is there another posibility to leave the bootcode intact?

the chipset is recognized correctly (shows a bunch of sis chipsets...)
only the bios chip data is missing...
anyway ill try it with awardflash...

found someone who could help me in emergency...

well i dled uniflash, but it doesnt recognize the bioschip.
its a SST 29EE010 and afaik there is no write protection so it should work. any ideas?

if i can find somebody nearby who can reflash the eeprom if it doesnt work sure

how difficult is it to make ur own bios version with 32+GB support?
imo its always the same sheme or not?
