the bios does not have any option to alter the cpu frequency in the Frequency and Voltage Control screen although the manual says the board offers 1066mhz support. Is there any point trying to install a core 2 duo cpu on the board bearing in mind that FS helpdesk originally said it didnt support it ...

the motherboard manual on the FS cd says there's support for 1066Mhz FSB and core 2 duo.
