Maybe I don't understand the problem, but 2.5V is what a k6-2 can also handle. 2.2 is what it really needs, but 2.5 works just fine, I ran my k6-2 on it too...

about the memory thing, 100 mhz would do just fine, but when raising the bus speed above 100 mhz, use 133 mhz memory to get a little more freedom in raising your buss speed

Not really 550 max... When you set you k6-2 multiplier at 2, it automaticaly maps to 6, so when using a 100mhzx6 = 600 mhz... When youre lucky, your k6-2 will pull it off, but not a big chance...

K6-2 on triton tx intel chipset?

Hi there guys, i'm new here. I have a question about a digital venturis fx-2 desktop. It's equipped with a 166 mhz intel proc, can handle 200 mhz too. And i was just wondering, whether this mobo can handle a k6-2 (66mhz times 6 is approx 400 mhz so that's what i wanna do) when looking at the voltage...
