After searching every place imaginable, I simply cannot find a solution to flashing an AMI BIOS with Win2k as my OS. I don't currently know anyone who actually runs Win98. so I cannot aquire a boot disk. Am I missing something here, or is this an absolute must? I can't believe manufacturers would still require a 6 year old boot disk to flash a current BIOS hehe.

Anyway, any help, thoughts, bitches, gripes and/or opinions would be most appreciated. I'm currently frustrated over a P4S5A ECS MB with a SIS645 chipset.
P.S. I have downloaded the BIOS version and utility from the manufacturers website that i need. No directions there for flashing from Win2k, unfortunatly. Any help would be most apprecitated.

Thanks in advance.

FYI its not the DRDOS 7.x "Biosflash" Bootdisk unless you can boot from something larger than a FAT formatted floppy. The DrDFlash disk for Bios flashing allows enough room for the .rom and utility, the other won't.

I still never would have found neither without your help Denniss, thanks again.

With your name, shouldn't you be running Unix anyways? ;)
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.
