You have the latest BIOS. If you want support for large HDDs, we can patch it.

Hi,

I did go to pcpartner.com..based on model number there is 1m and 2m
also each of them have 2 types ie ITE and SMC..so there are 4 combinations.

Which combination should I use ...according to you i must use 1m and ITE..right??
so c:\awdflash filename.bin

My bios manual says "1MB flash bios with feature cut.2MB flash BIOS supporting PnP,ATAPI,ACPI,DMI..."
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS SIGNON: 02/10/1999-691-586B-8661-2A6LFV3GC-00
BIOS ID:2A6LFV

Can you reconfirm that confirmation(1Mb,ITE) please??
Thanks again.....

Rainbow already patched exactly this BIOS for large disc support - check the ID string - it's at http://wims.rainbow-software.org/.

[update] ..although only 64 GB in that version...
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
