Hi!

I Have Corputed Phoenix bios chip and i found another motherboard, which has AMI bios but the chip is same. When i try to hotflash, phlash crashes at Identifying flash memory part type. I tried other flashers, but they don´t use platform.bin.

Can someone tell me how to disable identifying flash memory, or does anyone know do i have to use mobo with phoenix bios or other flasher :?:

If the bin file is the correct size for the chip then yes, uniflash will
flash it, providing of course that it recognizes the chip on the
other motherboard your using to hotflash with, you say the chips
are the same so you shouldn't have a problem doing so.

I mean, that there is two uptate files one is bios.rom, which is 512Kb and the another is platform.bin 2Kb. It finds the chip but when i can´t flash it with using platform.bin(it´s file that contains flashing instructions.) Do i have to use that platform.bin?
