Ok, here is the situation.

I'm a f'ing retard and should have read about the recovery jumper before doing it. I put a password on my IBM Netvista 6269 H2U 3 years ago, and for the life of me could not remember it since I wanted to simply add the num lock on startup feature. So I was smart and tried a few things to try to reflash/reboot the BIOS and did the jumper trick. I did it as follows from IBM's website:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-45385

Anyways, I found out I need the Flash program on a 3.5" floppy @ boot, and dont have it. My other computer is a Mac and I dont have a floppy drive on it (only Cd/DVD burner). I dont know where I can get access to a PC anytime soon, is there anything I can do to get the PC running?

When it starts up, you get the series of 2 beeps, and it tries reading the :A drive for the flash program.

Any help would be great, and/or the location of the flash program.
Thanks,

Is this the correct flash update?

Looks like the appropriate BIOS... Why don't you borrow a FDD or simply buy one... they're very very cheap.

Ok,

I tied everything with that download to no avail! When I download it, it will not start/execute? I cant extract the files from the download to create a bootable floppy. They file alone will not work on the floppy as well.

Any ideas?
