System was not new Award Bios version !

Hi,

I need to update my TX97-E motherboard to use an AMD K6 500Mhz.

* During the apply of the new bios 0112e.001 from ASUS site and the AFLASH,
I’ve got first the message : Error – Flash Memory Unknown.

* I tried too the utility AWD822a : reboot without doing something.

* And utility Flashv73 gave this warning:
File Name to Program : 0112e.001
System was not new Award Bios version !
Please update ROM BIOS First ….

What is strange is the same thing happen for the same bios version 0108e I use.

Try this utility ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIOS/B ... ash_16.zip or even this ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIOS/BIOS_FL ... lash53.zip.
You can also try UniFlash (flash including bootblock).
