I try using uniflash 1/40, and the program detect my bios :

82802AB /3.3 V

I just using -save option to see that the file size is the same
and it's comes out 524288 byte is the same size with the bios I want to upgrade, so my question is , why that the board won't let me update the bios ? I didn't want to use uniflash to flash my bios, cause I'm not sure it's save, since afudos refuse to flash my bios and always comes up with error. is the chip write protect ? and if it is write protect, is that anyway to unprotect it ? Help please I'm lost !!!

I try to use hot swapping bios to fix this problems, since I got 4 M bios coming this week , but it's not the same board, I got this from my friend, he got gigabyte with 2x 4 MB chip (GIGABYTE GA-6CX ) , Can I use this bios chip to do hot swapping ? and can I use Uniflash to hot flash ?
And suggestions ?
