I believe you have a "Creative" M003 motherboard, that was manufactured by Shuttle--try that bios upgrade, and see what happens.

No floppy drive-how can I flash bios

I would offer this suggestion to you or anyone else who does not feel comfortable flashing bios--learn, or do a trial flash with an electronic gizmo called" Bios Savior"--it's a $20 to$25 investment--flash your "new" program to it--if anything goes bad, you still have your original bios program to f...

All M003 bios programs released by Creative Labs, but not supported by them, have the 32gig limitation "bug"--If you obtained a copy of M003NL47, dated 2/2/01, from anywhere else, it would have the 32 gig limitation---only at http://wims.rainbow-software.org can you find the same name and date that ...

No---my info comes from an eSupport program called bios wizard 2.10--it's used to convince potential customers (suckers) to buy their upgrade. One of the bios programs--DMI version, produced an output that said--current version 2.0--minimum DMI version is 2.1 I bought the upgrade--installed it--and ...

+The DMI upgrade issue is yet to be addressed--let me add to the DMI versions , the possible addition of smbios ver 2.3.3. Also, is this program resident in the bios extention?

I have a bios --i440BX-ITE867-2A69KH2EC-00--for which there is no support. (on-line or otherwise), making the date insignificant. I would like to have the following changes made. 1)Remove the Pentium 2 support completely--I believe the Celeron support to be 700mhz or so--I would like it to be 1 gigh...

you might have missed my point. I am not asking about a tea leaf reading to predict the future, but only a program to specify what the bios contains. usually the manual for motherboards is most accurate at the time of issue. As faster cpu's(as an example) become available, bios's are updated to supp...

bios human interface

many of the problems stated in forums are the result of bios unknowns, ie: hdd size supported, cpu types/speeds supported, etc. I am surprised no one has created a program that identifies the bios on board code with a human interface that translates bios capabilities into a readable form. Any takers?

meaning of hdd "types" & patch needed

I have a bios that will auto detect "46" types of hard drives. Since this bios has the 32 gig limitation, I assume type 46 is equal to 30 gigs in round numbers. If this is true, does it mean that a type 47 drive is equal to 40 gigs ? Where might one find a "type" table that defines type 1 through ho...

You state that your bios oem id is M003"BP"43. My bios is the same date with an oem id of M003"BE"43. The reason I am asking is that my front side buss choices were 66,75,and83 mhz. You state your fsb to be 100mhz. I bought a $70 bios upgrade from eSupport.com---they sell rip-offs. My system is runn...
