Hello I have a problem with my computer I need to install win-xp on it but I saw that it shows me ""cmos battery low & cmos memory size wrong",I suppose that needs a BIOS update before trying to change the OS.
I will apreciate any help from you, thank's.
k-tod.

No, it looks more like the backup battery of your board is dying or already dead thus the Bios losses it's configuration data stored in CMOS. Should be a CR2032 battery and is easy to replace.

Hi,
I have this board & I want to upgrade the CPU to a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (AXDA2600DKV4D) which has an FSB of 333 the CPU is here :-

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/AMD-At ... DKV4D.html

can I do this on a board with FSB 266? & what will happen if I insert the CPU
anyway. Will it fry the board, the CPU or both?

Also does anybody still have the files listed above?

Would appreciate any help you can give
Cheers

none of the above. if it boots it will just run the CPU at FSB266 instead of FSB333. so the cpu core will just run slower.
If you email me include [WIMSBIOS] in the subject.
