Hi-Sorry for my english.
I have already purchase an old V80M Mainboard with a PIII 600 slot1 processor.
I want make a linux server with an old PII 300Mhz processor.
When i insert this in slot, the system start but give me a CPU Update code error.
I've try to install a new microcode from Acer website, but the program (checup6.exe) recognize the cpu (x634) but tell me there is no microcode.
The problem is the system wait for F1 Key.After it start normally.
Can someone help me?

Can you change the "halt on" in the CMOS setup ? Usually it is set to halt on "all errors", but you may be able to change it.

It's very strange. There is no voice with "no halt on error"
perhaps the system support usb legacy keyboard.
If i unplugged the keyboard, i have che cpu code error and keyboard error and, after 5 seconds, the system start but the usb keyboard don't work.
If I plug the usb keyboard after the post, the device is recognize and start to work without problem.
I suppose i've make a wrong buy.........
