Hello

I'm french..

I have an old mother board with this nimber bios:
2A59CH2AC-00
And on the top I have : 541WEP06

So, the question is : I found on Shuttle ftp site bios for MB Hot-541, but a message appear when I want to flash bios. Apperently, it's just the code on the name of the file name bios.
The name is 541wuqxx, and I don't know if this version is the good for my MB.
I have found another : 541wubxx Same question...

So, on my MB, xxxWEPxx it is very important ?

Thanks for response

Please post your full Bios-ID !!

It seems Shuttle has 3 or 4 revision with different I/O controller chip - a wrong Bios will render some I/O ports unusable including Floppy !

Hmmm - I can't find a Bios revision using WEP - maybe a non-flashable EPROM ?!?

-> Peel the Award sticker from your Bios (Flash-)ROM and post the numbers writen onto it - if you see a window then it's an EPROM

Chip is flashable .

Please use the Bios Agent linked from our main page - it should report the Multi I/O Chip used on your mainboard.
