Possible to add CPU to BIOS?

Don't ask how to over-clock.

I have an MSI 6702 motherboard that doesn't recognize m AMD Sempron 64 CPU. This seems to be causing problems with the Cool 'n Quiet feature not working. MSI seems to have abandoned this motherboard. I have MMTool and can extract the POST module that contains the CPU strings, but is there any way to add a CPU to it?

Yeah, unfortunately my CPU is the Sempron E6 version listed as NONE. The only encouragement is NONE = UNDER TESTING instead of no support. I already have the latest v2.2 BIOS and my CPU is recognized as "AMD Unknown Processor".

I have a EPROM programmer that supports many 4Mbit flash ROM so I thought I would take the gamble with making my own BIOS by changing modules around, but when I took my computer apart yesterday, I came to the sad realization that the flash chip is soldered.
