Well the updated and patched BIOS flashed just fine, but the weird thing is when I try to go into either the Standard CMOS Setup or the Auto Detect IDE Device Screens, the CMOS locks up, it never finds the devices and the keyboard won't let me skip or get out of those two screens. I have to reboot. ...

I guess if the BIN has the same name as the version I have now, i should delete it from the flooy boot disk before downloading?

This is what it displayed: 10/23/1998-i440BX-W977EF-ATC-6230C-00 ATC-6230 1.0 02 I assume that was Version 1. 0 I didn't see anything indicating a different version, but downloaded two: 6230V104.BIN dated 02/10/99 6230112A.BIN dated 02/11/00 since the latter had the latest date I assumed it was the ...

Now I went and did it. Something didn't work because now I just get a steading beeeeeep continious and no image on the screen.
