Yea anyway i decided it was time for an upgrade anyway, i've purchased a p4 2.5ghz processor with 533mhz bus but need a motherboard that will run that and support pc800 rambus ram (don't really won't to have to buy new ram to) any ideas? will the D850MV from intel do the trick?

If only mine had the backup bios chip feature i would of been saved, doesn't have mine in sockets either :(

Hmm sounds complicated and i haven't a soldering iron, think i'll try and buy a new board that will be easier.

Right i used the bios program that comes with the motherboard drivers to flash my bios chip from the internet, i choose the one i thought was right out of the two it showed on there. Now i have a monitor that stays in standbye, cdrom and cdrw do access but my floppy drive does not, also there is pow...
