Well, yes, I thought about upgrading the bios, because it's dated from '94 and it has never ever been updated since my father bhought the pc (Must have been in '95, i think). I think I will handle it myself, but if you feel like your motivated and you have nothing else to do, you are allowed to help...

On one edge of the board (well hidden) I've found following inscription: Acer AP5C 94145-1 48.86603.001 Is that actually a motherboard name? through my research on internet it would seems so, but I want your confirmation first.
