Hello,

I am interested if i can write an 1024 Kb bios file , originally designed for an 8Mb chip to a 4 Mb chip. The problem is that my flash mother board does not see this 8 Mb chip which is a 49LF008A, but the damaged chip which can't be successfully written it's properly identified and this chip it's a ST M50FW080. Both are FWH chips at 3.3V

1024kByte is 8Mbit so no, you need an 8Mbit chip.
