Now we just need a "Asus ModBin" release.

PS:
Is there someone who is able to unhide all nenues/nptions/values/settings in the HP BIOS file, mentioned above?

Apple, are you able to do this?

Or have I to extract the necessary modules and build a temporary BIOS file which is compatible with "MODBIN6 2.00.00 (03/20)"?

After modification I maybe can replace the modified "BIOS-Setup"-module from the temporary BIOS file
with the module in the special Asus BIOS file (HP Pavilion a335w BIOS).
Would this method be possible or would it work at all?

I see that it has been a while since there was a post on this thread, and I was wondering if there was any progress made in actually editing the BIOS in the HP Pavillion a335 (mentioned in this post--uses 317.rom). I have a compaq presario S5300NX, and it uses the same motherboard and BIOS as the HP, and I want to get more options available in the BIOS setup screen. I see that the BIOS is Award Medallion 6.0 and is the "special" BIOS that is hard to edit-- I have extracted the modules using BIT 1.4 and need to figure out what to do next... I had to change the processor because it went bad, and I can't get the BIOS to see it at the right clock speed, so I would like the CPU multiplier and overclocking features open so that I can attempt to set the processor to the right settings. I have tried finding Borg Number One's BIOS tools, but the only version that I found had lots of failed CRC for files and would not let me use most of the programs. Is there a way that I can modify this BIOS to have the overclocking options, or am I just screwed and should get a new board? The computer was free from a friend that had upgraded, so I thought that I might as well take a computer when I can get one. Oops????
