I've read through the thread. I've used the Winphlash to dump the Dell/Phoenix bios to the default BIOS.BAK file. I've also tried dumping it to BIOS.WPH and BIOS.ROM. I've opened the files using Phoenix Bios Editor Pro and I get an error "No BCPs found". Am I missing something?
The whole reason I want to edit the bios is the previous owner of this laptop modified the bios to display the owner's name at the top of the display during bootup. I want to remove this information.
