I simply want to know if flashing a plcc with the wrong bios can cause damage to a motherboard once we reboot the computer?

I have 2 identical plcc chips with the same bios (because I have 2 identical motherboards). If the flash process fails with one chip then I put back the second one, all is theoricly supposed to work fine. am I right?

This is for test purposes. I wish to test this but I want to be certain that I will not destroy one motherboard doing that :)

Thanks

*Theoretically* it could put the wrong voltage on the CPU or the wrong FSB, if you have PnP voltage and soft FSB.
